3 Year Bible Reading Plan for Google Calendar

Many of us have made resolutions for the new year. And I’m no different. One of my 2021 goals is to continue to read the Bible everyday which I’ve done for many years now. You’d think I wouldn’t need to renew a commitment like that but I live in a world full of distractions. And without a firm plan on how much to read and a regular time to do it, the distractions that are certain to sabotage me. So to be successful I need to have a schedule. But this year rather than come up with something on my own, I jumped online to find one. In no time at all I found a plan to read through the bible in three years from the Christian Standard Bible website. Each day’s reading were about 15-20 minutes and that seemed perfect. Here’s the link to the specific three year bible reading plan that you can print out and follow along.

If however, you use Google Calendar to organize the important events in your day, I created a Google Calendar from this plan that I could add to my personal Google Calendar to remind me of the particular verse to read that day. The task occurs every day to occur between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. which works for my devotion time. If that sounds like something that would work for you, here is a link to that calendar. It is a zipped file and after you download and unzip it you can add it through the import calendar feature in Google Calendar settings. If there is a different time that you wish that event to occur and you want help, send me a comment below and I will create that calendar for you.

Hope you enjoy it and start a new habit for a daily devotion with God and his Word.
