Round 1 of March Madness started today. For those of you in our family Final 4 bracket pool, the Renaud braggin’ rights are on the line again!
To be the champ this year, you won’t get there by just picking favorites. In this 9th edition, you’ll need to pick a few upsets by higher numbered seeds as the formula for earning points includes the value for the round multiplied by the seed of the winning team. It should be very entertaining.
All in all though, it’s three weeks of really great basketball. The competition is largely a lottery and it’s all in good fun. I’ll be providing updates here and on Facebook, hashtag RenFamFin4.
